"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER
believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life"    John 3:16

(KJV)

These words from Jesus are so simple.  The Word of God was never meant to be
complicated or used to justify one group of people at the expense of others. God simply
says that ALL need a savior.  The point of the Bible is to express this truth and identify
that Jesus is the one needed.

The Gathering Place Worship Center (GPWC) is a church that embraces the truth of God’s unconditional love for ALL people.  We share with others the message of grace that we ourselves have received.  We are calling for those who have been rejected by mainstream religion to join us in sharing the GOOD NEWS that Jesus Christ has come to save us, not condemn us.  We’ve forsaken the idea of trying to earn God’s approval by our own efforts and have come to simply receive the unmerited favor of God in our lives.  We are seeking to radically identify ourselves as the Beloved of God – A people who are loved not for what they can do, but for who they are as his children in Christ Jesus.  God has taken us out of cursed places and has gathered us together in a blessed place to live in glorious freedom.

We welcome you to this website!  We pray that God would bless you as you look through these pages and get a glimpse of what is happening at GPWC Austin.

Jer 23:3 - “I myself will gather the remnant of my flock...and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number"
